Our classrooms
Infant Rooms
Turtles and Ducklings
Our infant classrooms provide a calm, nurturing environment where each child’s rhythms and needs guide the day. Through responsive caregiving, sensory exploration, and early social interaction, our educators build strong relationships that support healthy development from the very beginning.
Toddler Rooms
Bunnies and Tadpoles
In our toddler classroom, curiosity takes the lead. Children are supported as they explore their independence, develop language, and engage in hands-on play, all within a structured environment designed to foster confidence, connection, and early learning.
Preschool Rooms
Grasshoppers, Lightning Bugs and Dragonflies
Our preschool classrooms are thoughtfully structured to support each stage of early learning while maintaining a consistent, play-based approach. Across all four groups, children receive intentional instruction tailored to their developmental level. Educators use observation and assessment to individualize learning, helping children build skills in early literacy, math, problem-solving, and communication—while also strengthening independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth in preparation for kindergarten and beyond.
“Skip-a-Long Davenport Center has been a vital partner in our children's development. We’ve actually adopted many of the center’s own techniques at home, like the 'Safe Space' and their philosophy of redirection and reflection. Seeing our girls grow emotionally through these tools has been incredible.”
