Who we are
At Skip-a-Long Davenport, we know how young children learn best: through exploration, relationships, and meaningful experiences.
Learning that grows with your child
We use an evidence-based learning framework that blends play, discovery, and intentional teaching. From infancy through preschool, children are encouraged to ask questions, try new ideas, build independence, and develop confidence in themselves and their abilities.
Our educators observe each child closely, using developmental assessments to guide learning experiences that are age-appropriate, engaging, and responsive to individual needs. This approach allows children to grow at their own pace while building strong foundations in early literacy, math, problem-solving, and communication.
Just as importantly, we prioritize social and emotional development. Children learn how to express feelings, manage emotions, collaborate with peers, and build empathy—skills that support success in school and beyond.
“Skip-a-Long has been an amazing partner in our children's growth. We are consistently impressed by the well-rounded curriculum that thoughtfully addresses all developmental ages. The care and attention provided by the staff ensure our children are thriving in a supportive and educational environment.”
